Understanding Lewy Body Dementia

Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) is a complex, challenging, and surprisingly common brain disease that can affect people as young as 45 years of age and is often misdiagnosed in its early stages.

Although lesser known than its “cousins” Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, LBD is not a rare disorder as more than 1 million Americans are affected by its disabling changes in the ability to think and move.

Join us for this informative introduction to Lewy Body Dementia. Presented by Sarah Hyde-Williams, CALM CDP CADDCT CMDCP CDCM who serves in a volunteer capacity with the Lewy Body Dementia Association as the Central TX Educator/Facilitator.
